Working on a Room Makeover

Here is the before
no paint and off center window

I am still working on it. First of all I am wanting to put one more color behind the brown curtains, I am thinking a light blue and hopefully add a decal on that. What do you think?
I also need a curtain for the other window. What color would be best? Brown? Light blue? Off-white? And debating on that color I need some throw pillows for the bed and I would love a ceiling fan.
So far I am very happy with it and I am looking forward to getting it finished and having a cozy retreat of a room. So give me some options ladies-or just come over and see for yourselves and then help a girl out :)
And Happy Easter!

I like the blue you chose for the walls - very serene. It's looking good!

My vote would be to put brown curtains on both windows - I'm kinda matchy-matchy that way. :)

Love it! It looks great!

I would probably do brown or white on the other window, hung high like you did the treatment on the wall.

A great big H hung centered over the bed on that wall would be cute.

Home Depot has a nice white ceiling fan for under $50, and it comes with a remote. (and a dimming feature) We installed 2 at our last house and one here. They are nice b/c they just blend in with the white ceiling.

I was going to call you after work to figure out what time i should pick you up/come to see your bedroom!

I feel like the brown curtains need to be spread out a little more. Like they are too close together. But maybe adding brown curtains to the other window would change that.

I think if you hung a blue letter the color of your walls on a piece of ribbon over the bed that would be really cute - it might be easier than trying to center a decal/graphic on the fabric.

I think the blue color turned out very nicely!
